School.
Single parent with three children: Ryan, Aaron and Molly
Brian sang and played drums with different bands, including the Holiday Band
from Girard. The bands performed at numerous weddings, private parties, and
clubs throughout Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Brian enjoys playing the
drums, four wheeling, fishing, and hunting, but feels that time spent with
his children is most important.
Brian began working for a local funeral home in high school, and worked for other funeral homes prior to joining Carson-Wall Funeral in 1986. Since 1988 he has been manager of Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard.

Married Shirley Selanders in 1970. They have three children, Katherine Eitel
of Kansas City, MO and Emily Brown and Ned Wall, both of Parsons.
Gary enjoys history and current events, reading newspapers, walking Benji, the family dog, and participating in civic and professional activities.

to teach kindergarten at Washington School. She taught in Parsons eight years,
retiring after the birth of their first child. She enjoys walking with friends
and volunteering for church and community activities.
